Sawrah Amini

Sawrah Amini

I'm a yoga and meditation teacher, shamanic practitioner, reiki master, PSYCH-K Facilitator, and self-support guide.

I help highly sensitive folks create a system of self-support to enhance daily living. I guide people through practical applications of modern and ancient tools, to support coming into harmony with their whole being system.

My name is Sawrah, (pronounced Saw-rah). I grew up between two worlds, two vastly different cultures. This informed my ability to be able to hold multiple, seemingly contradictory views, and thoughts at the same time. Because of this, I am an explorer by nature, and approach life with a sense of curiosity. I have always been drawn to the magical and the mundane of the everyday living of a life. I believe that life is like the scientific method and requires experimentation to both learn about yourself and the world around you.

As a highly sensitive person, I have had to learn how to manage my energy differently than how I was taught. I had migraines for over two decades and learning how to redesign my life for my unique system changed everything for me. Each person is different and there is no one way to do anything. That’s where experimentation and multiple modalities come in. Weaving modalities together creates an opportunity to reengineer our lives to suit our needs and individual human systems, instead of expecting ourselves to mold and fit in to what already exists.

I’ve been formally trained in yoga, reiki, shamanic practice, PSYCH-K, and advanced study in yoga therapy. I have been informally trained through my travels across the world with teachers from all over the world and from my own experience using my own life as a guide for what needs to be explored, healed, and then transmuted.

A life long learner and student, I weave strands of different modalities and traditions (ancient and modern) together to create offerings to support our individual human being systems. I help people return to their inner wisdom through a process of loosening and transforming limiting beliefs. We start in the body through movement practice to create a grounded stability from the inside out. Then we travel deeper into the inner system to work with the beliefs that run our lives. While small, simple, pragmatic, consistent change with a dose of the magical is my hallmark, private sessions and practice are always guided by what is best for YOU and YOUR system. Private sessions are a collaborative experience, in a compassionate, held container, where you can feel safe to be you.

  • Right now, I am working and guiding in three main ways, small dedicated group study, courses, and private sessions. For my own energy management, skill set, and excitement, these are the ways I am called to guide right now.

I used to offer weekly classes in person BPE (Before the Pandemic Era) at a studio I managed, and I did enjoy those. Right now, I find I can be of more service online, in dedicated, committed settings. That is of course subject to change as life evolves.

  • Holding compassionate, sacred space is one of the most important aspects of any private session. It is always my intention the that person feels held, seen, and supported. My methodology is flow not force. I am there as a loving guide, not the director of your experience. Each session is built to suit your expressed needs regardless of the methodology we are using or you have requested.

I offer tools, skills, methods, and processes to support exactly where you are in your life. Through a process of investigating limiting beliefs, (which honestly, usually come up all by themselves without having to look for them), we can help clear the way for more supportive beliefs to come forward.

In conjunction with movement practice, and energy management tools, these three prongs help make small changes that grow over time. There are no quick fixes here.

Through dedicated, compassionate devotion to yourself and your journey, we walk the path of your inner journey in the way that supports you.

  • I never stop learning. My curiosity knows no bounds.

Right now, I am learning about Unani Biotypes, Qi Gong, Neurodivergence, Family Constellations and Emerging Technologies that will affect us as humans.

My study in my main modalities also continues as well through ongoing study with my teachers.

  • I have traveled around the world and back solo (45 Countries). I love to read. I love to write. Daily walks save lives. My consecutive meditation practice has surpassed 1300 days in a row and counting. I love animals and they love me. They will cross the street to try to get to me, not even kidding a little. Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was a child. I have had the great fortune to be a part of a few juried art shows with my black and white photography. One of my favorite activities is the “walk and talk.” Quality time is one of my love languages. I’m a Pisces Sun, Virgo Rising, Aquarius Moon. INFJ. Generator. I like to travel without GPS. My phone doesn’t make any sounds or vibrations. I love to make things and love to craft all manner of things. I reorganize my closet for fun. I am never without writing instruments. I grew up between two cultures and have always been a bridge person. I carry a book wherever I go.

As Sawrah calls it- self support is essential. Give yourself this gift of self support.“

  • “Wonderful course for anyone who wants to contemplate what it means to live deeply. Sawrah offered a course that helped open minds, bodies, hearts & senses to this experience. Her extensive study of yoga provided a logical framework for the course but it was enhanced by her knowledge in other disciplines & sharing some of her personal journey. “

  • “When I began PSYCH-K sessions with Sawrah a couple of months ago, I never imagined the immense, positive impact this modality would have in shifting my thinking. Sawrah’s ability to use active listening and thoughtful questioning has allowed me to identify many of my limited beliefs. During each session, she compassionately holds a safe place for you which allows you to feel at ease and comfortable doing this inner work. She will absolutely be one of your biggest supporters as you travel along your journey, but she is a strong believer in having her clients find their own inner guidance as they do this important work.”
